Terms & Conditions – RBM Beds

Welcome to RBM Beds. By accessing our website https://www.rbmbeds.co.uk/ or placing an order with us, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

These terms apply to all users, including customers, visitors, and anyone placing an order.


Customer Responsibility & Product Fit

It is the customer’s full responsibility to ensure that all ordered items (including beds, headboards, and accessories) can be safely delivered and installed in the intended location.

Before placing an order, please carefully check:

  • Room size and available space

  • Doorways, staircases, and hallway widths

  • Lift access (if applicable)

  • Any restricted or narrow entry points

We strongly recommend double-checking all measurements before confirming your order.

If the item does not fit through access points or into the room, no refund or return will be provided under any circumstances.


Custom Made Products – No Refund / No Return Policy

All products sold by RBM Beds are made-to-order and customised according to customer specifications.

Because of this:

  • No returns, refunds, or exchanges are accepted

  • Orders are final once placed

  • Incorrect size, colour, or specifications chosen by the customer are non-refundable

  • Even if delivery is refused, the order remains chargeable

If any replacement part is required, a new order must be placed and paid for separately.


Fabric & Colour Variation Disclaimer

We aim to display all product colours and fabrics as accurately as possible; however, slight variations may occur.

Please note that the main product images on our website are computer-generated (CGI) and are for visual representation only. These images may not exactly reflect the actual fabric texture or colour.

The colour options shown in the variation section are based on real product images, but even these may differ slightly from the actual product due to lighting, screen settings, and fabric dye batches.

Minor differences in shade, texture, or appearance are normal and are not considered defects.

We strongly recommend ordering fabric samples before placing your order. If samples are not requested, the customer accepts full responsibility for any variation in shade or texture.


Delivery Terms (Third-Party Courier Service)

All deliveries are completed by independent third-party couriers.

Delivery Location:

  • Delivery is made to the main entrance only

  • For flats/apartments, delivery will be to the building entrance only

Customer Responsibility:

  • Provide correct contact details

  • Ensure availability at time of delivery

If delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect phone number

  • Customer not being available

  • Access restrictions

A re-delivery fee between £70 – £150 will apply depending on courier charges.


Assembly Service Terms

If assembly service is included but access issues prevent the item from being moved into the desired room:

  • Items will be left at the delivery address

  • Assembly charges will not be refunded

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure clear access before ordering.


Delivery Scheduling & Missed Deliveries

Once a delivery is scheduled:

  • Delivery usually takes place the next working day after dispatch

  • Time slots may be provided by the courier

If delivery is missed:

  • Re-delivery charges will apply

  • These charges must be paid before re-arranging delivery


Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Customers may request changes within 2 hours of placing the order

  • After production begins, cancellation is not possible without charges

Cancellation charges:

  • 50% of order value

  • Plus approx. 10% platform/processing fees

Once manufacturing starts, all orders are considered final.


Returns Policy (If Applicable)

Returns are only accepted in limited cases where approved.

Conditions:

  • Must be reported within 5 days of delivery

  • Items must be unused and in original condition

  • Mattresses cannot be returned once packaging is opened due to hygiene reasons

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5 working days after inspection

  • Delivery costs will be deducted from refund amount


Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 5 days:

We will review the issue and offer repair or replacement where appropriate. Refunds are not normally provided for custom-made items.


Product Measurements

All sizes are approximate and may vary by up to ±5%.

If measurements are not shown on a product page, it is the customer’s responsibility to confirm details before ordering.


Non-Standard Product Notes

  • Headboards above 80 inches in height are not offered

  • Ottoman beds are designed without a base board to improve storage space and durability


Website Usage Rules

By using this website, you agree not to:

  • Misuse or hack the website

  • Use bots or scraping tools

  • Post false or misleading information

  • Copy or reuse content without permission

  • Use the website for illegal purposes

All content is protected under intellectual property laws.


Pricing & Changes

We reserve the right to:

  • Update prices at any time

  • Modify or discontinue products

  • Limit order quantities

We are not responsible for third-party impacts caused by such changes.

Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy, in compliance with applicable data protection laws.


Updates to Terms

RBM Beds may update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Customers are advised to review them before placing each order.

We offer Klarna payment options in partnership with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sweden:

  • Pay in 3

  • Pay Later

All payments are subject to Klarna’s own terms and privacy policy.
