Refund and Returns Policy


At RBM Beds, all products are made to order. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order, as it explains when refunds, returns, or cancellations may (or may not) apply.


Made-to-Order & Custom Products (No Refunds)

All beds, headboards, mattresses, and customised items sold by RBM Beds are made to order.

  • Made-to-order products are not eligible for return or refund
  • This applies regardless of size, colour, fabric, or design choice
  • Orders placed with incorrect measurements or specifications remain non-refundable

We strongly advise customers to check all measurements, colours, fabrics, and access points before placing an order.


Cancellations & Cancellation Fees

Once manufacturing has started, orders cannot be cancelled without charges.

Fabric Beds & Mattresses

Due to the nature of these products:

  • A 50% cancellation fee applies
  • This includes initial delivery charges and collection charges
  • Applies to all payment methods

Pre-Manufacturing Cancellation

If a cancellation is requested before manufacturing begins:

  • Payment processor fees will be deducted
  • These range from 7% to 10%, depending on the payment method used

Returns (Where Applicable)

If a return is authorised (at our discretion only):

  • Items must be unused, unassembled, and in a resalable condition
  • We reserve the right to assess and deduct charges for any damage or wear
  • No refunds will be issued once a product has been assembled

Return Charges

The following non-negotiable return charges apply:

  • Bed frames: £120.00
  • Ottoman beds: £150.00

These charges reflect courier collection fees and must be paid by the customer.

All return carriage and shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.


Incorrect Size, Fit & Access Issues

It is the customer’s responsibility to:

  • Select the correct size
  • Measure doorways, staircases, and rooms
  • Ensure access is suitable for delivery and assembly

We do not accept responsibility for:

  • Items that do not fit through stairs or doors
  • Items that cannot be moved into the intended room
  • Heavy or bespoke designs that require additional assistance

No refunds or exchanges will be offered in such cases.


Large & Bespoke Bed Designs

For large or bespoke beds (including but not limited to TV Royal Beds, Ambassador Beds, Park Lane Beds, Round Beds):

  • These beds are extremely heavy
  • Assembly teams may refuse fitting if access or assistance is insufficient
  • Customers must arrange additional help if required

If assembly cannot be completed due to these issues:

  • Assembly charges will not be refunded
  • No return or refund will be accepted

Headboards – Customer Responsibility

Customers must ensure:

  • Correct headboard size is selected
  • Staircase and room access is suitable

We cannot accept responsibility if a headboard does not fit.
Refunds or exchanges will not be offered for incorrect sizing.

Any headboard modifications or adjustments will incur additional charges.


Damaged or Missing Items

If goods arrive damaged or parts are missing:

We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement.

Investigation of Damage Claims

All damage claims are subject to a full investigation by RBM Beds and the third-party courier.
Products are thoroughly inspected before dispatch, and couriers take photographic evidence at delivery.

If no visible damage is recorded at delivery, any damage reported later is deemed to have occurred after delivery, including during unpacking or handling by the customer. In such cases, RBM Beds accepts no responsibility.

Refunds are not available for made-to-order products.


Refund Processing (If Approved)

If a refund is approved:

  • Returns must be declared within 5 days of purchase
  • Items must be returned unused and in original condition
  • Refunds are processed within 5 working days after inspection
  • Original delivery charges will be deducted

Samples – Fabrics & Colours

To help customers make the right choice:

  • You may order up to 3 fabric samples before purchasing
  • This helps avoid incorrect colour or material selection

Klarna Payments

We offer Klarna payment options in cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sweden:

  • Pay in 3
  • Pay Later

Refunds and cancellations processed through Klarna are subject to this Refund & Returns Policy and Klarna’s own terms.
