Delivery Policy

Made to Order & Delivery Timeframes

All products at RBM Beds are made to order.

Once payment is completed, you will receive an order confirmation email (please check your junk/spam folder if not received). Your order then goes into production.

  • Estimated delivery time: 3–14 working days (UK Mainland only)

  • Some postcode areas may require up to 30 days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on location, courier availability, and production schedules.


Delivery Scheduling & Courier Service

All deliveries are carried out by third-party courier services.

Once your order is ready:

  • A delivery date will be confirmed with you by the courier

  • You may receive a delivery time slot via email or phone

  • It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept the delivery

If delivery is missed due to:

  • Customer unavailability

  • Incorrect contact details

  • Refused delivery

A re-delivery charge between £70 and £150 will apply.
This charge is non-negotiable, as it is imposed by the courier.


Delivery Location (Main Door Only)

All deliveries are made strictly to the main entrance of the property.

  • For flats or apartments, delivery will be to the main building door, not the individual flat

  • Couriers are not required to carry items upstairs or into rooms

Customers must ensure access is suitable before placing an order.


Customer Responsibility – Access & Measurements

It is entirely the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all ordered items can be delivered through:

  • Doorways

  • Hallways

  • Staircases

  • Lifts

  • Any other access points

If an item cannot be delivered to the intended room due to access limitations:

  • The courier will leave the items at the delivery address

  • No refunds or returns will be accepted

  • Assembly charges (if purchased) are non-refundable


Assembly Services

Assembly services are provided by courier-appointed teams where available.

If assembly has been purchased but cannot be completed due to access issues:

  • Items will still be delivered

  • Assembly charges will not be refunded

Assembly availability depends on postcode (see below).


Incorrect Orders & Failed Delivery

If an order is placed with incorrect sizes or measurements:

  • The order is non-refundable

  • Refused deliveries are still chargeable

  • Re-delivery requests will incur additional charges

If a replacement part is required (e.g. a headboard):

  • A new order must be placed

  • Additional delivery charges will apply

Standard Areas (Free Delivery)

Estimated delivery time: 3–14 working days

England, Scotland, Wales (selected areas)


Extended Delivery Areas (3–30 Days)

The following postcodes may take longer:

BT, SA, EX, DT, DG, TR, AB, DD, KW, IV, JE, GY, PO, PA, PH

⚠️ Important:
Assembly services are not available in these postcodes.


Areas We Do Not Deliver To

Third-party couriers do not deliver to:

  • Northern Ireland (NI)

  • Republic of Ireland (ROI)

  • Islands

  • JE, GY

  • KW 1–14

  • PA 21–38

Orders placed for these areas may be subject to cancellation charges due to made-to-order production.


Outside the UK

Unfortunately, we do not offer international delivery.
Our courier partners only operate within the UK.


Damaged Items During Delivery

If your order arrives damaged during transit:

  • Contact us as soon as possible within 5 days of delivery

  • Email contact.rbmbeds@gmail.com

  • Include clear photos and your order number

We will arrange replacement parts at no additional cost.
Refunds are not available for made-to-order products.
This does not affect your warranty.

Additional Note on Damage Claims & Investigations

All damage claims are subject to a full investigation by both RBM Beds and the third-party courier. Before dispatch, every product is carefully inspected during packing to ensure there are no scratches, defects, or visible damage. Any item found with even minor damage is corrected or re-packed before being sent out.

Couriers also take photographic evidence at the point of delivery, regardless of whether damage is visible or not. These images, along with tracking records, are used to confirm the condition of the item at delivery.

If no visible damage is recorded by the courier at delivery, any damage reported later is deemed to have occurred after delivery, including during unpacking, handling, or movement by the customer. In such cases, RBM Beds accepts no responsibility, and claims will not be approved.


Important Notes

  • All bed dimensions are approximate and may vary by up to 5%

  • If dimensions are not listed or you are not sure, please contact us before ordering

  • Ottoman gas lift beds do not include a base board, as removing it improves storage and long-term stability
